Through the OTR Open Doors Campaign, we are raising funds to install automatic door openers that help residents enter and leave their homes safely and independently.

For many of us, opening the door to leave our home is something we rarely think about. But for adults with physical disabilities, a standard door can become a daily barrier.

At Over The Rainbow, accessible housing means more than ramps and wider hallways. Small modifications inside the home can make a big difference in helping residents live safely and independently.

One of the most impactful upgrades is the installation of automatic door openers. With the push of a button, residents can open their door independently, making everyday tasks easier and helping them move through their home with greater freedom.

Through the OTR Open Doors Campaign, we are working to install door openers in apartments where they are needed most. These upgrades provide more than convenience — they help residents live with greater independence and dignity.
