What is the OTR Challenge Tour?
Event details:
101.9 The Mix and Over the Rainbow are teaming up to empower adults with physical disabilities. The annual OTR Challenge Tour is a community event that supports resident services, helping build independence and improve quality of life.
Date & Time: Sunday, September 21, 2025, 9:00am- 1:30pm (start time varies if biking or walking/rolling-see below)
Come when you like!
If you are biking, we suggest 9:00am or 9:30am so that you will be back in time for the fest!
The walk is 10:30am to 11:30am
Or if you are just coming for the fun fest celebration, it is from 11:30-1:30
Location: At Hill Arboretum Apartments: 2040 Brown Avenue, Evanston, IL 60201
Choose Your Challenge
There’s a way for everyone to participate in the OTR Challenge:
Walk or Roll: Enjoy a short, accessible walk, under 2 miles, along the scenic North Shore Channel Trail (10:30–11:30). Starting and ending at our Hill Aboretum Apartments.
Bike Ride: 25 miles through the suburbs with Evanston Bike Club’s Northshore Century Ride. Starting and Ending at Hill Aboretum Apartments. (8:30-11:30)
Just Come for the Celebration: Not biking or walking/rolling? No problem! Join us after the challenge for Free food, drink, music, family fun, and more! Featuring Fat Shallot and Kona Ice!
Arrival at Hill Arboretum: (All Enjoy Coffee and Doughnuts with Joe and Dough Food Truck)
Bikers: Check In: 9:00am-9:30am
Walk & Rollers: Check In: 10:00am-10:30am
Celebration: 11:30am -1:30pm at Hill Arboretum, Evanston
Everyone is welcome — Individuals, teams, families, and all abilities! (101.9 The Mix, Kids activities, Free Food and Drinks for All)
